Here I post macro images of natural ice and of ice in general. There is no big point here, but only the beauty and the variability of the shapes found in ice. Picking ice from lake or from sea and inspecting it from different angles in different illumination will reveal magnificient sceneries. Most of the images here are peeks into natural ice, some self evident samples are from ice on glass surface. What is intriguing is that the ice in front of the camera lens is just a quick glimpse which is constantly changing -melting. There is no way to recreate the shape and texture anew.
