Welcome to join my dog walking! Welcome to take a peek at my diary.
Daily hikes with and without dogs in my surroundings got more meaning 2005 after having purchased a 7 Mpxl pocket digi to carry with. It taught me to knee down and opened my eyes to small.
Below you have a chronological presentation of what nature has provided. It is not a herbarium, no systematic document, no science. Just sharing colourful world.
This macro category is devoted to 'green' i.e. to plants and flowers et c. There are separate categories devoted to ice flowers, macro ice, winter and most of all: an amazing world of water reflections will be revealed and this post is under construction.
Here you have access to 2 700 good resolution images of plants and like. A bit more comprehensive collection is shown on contact sheets. Some of those images show 'stupid' crops; there are also many almost similar looking crops et c. The reason is f.ex. to provide different ways to print a text into picture. Similar looking images may also have somewhat different focus. In macrophotography - and especially so when using a pocket digi - the depth of the field is an issue. In most cases focus is a compromise; even more so when the object is tilted with respect to the camera.
Each subpage contains 25 thumbnails. Images are numbered as they have been designated by camera. This sequential number is preserved also in contact sheets. Images are in a chronological order. After 9900 images camera starts again from number 0000. This has been 'corrected' (adding digit '1', '2' ...) on this root page but the digit is not always shown on image pages. To avoid confusion in identifying some particular picture its number and thumbnail are needed.
Images are from a 7 Mpxl camera (aspect ratio 4:3) 'til image number 30 000. 7Mpxl allows a reasonable A3-printing. (In some but very few cases there may occur some unsharpness in the full resolution image - wind or camera shake. For some reason I just want to post that particular image - possibly lacking a better one.) From image 30 008 onwards (sub page #84) a 12Mpxl camera has been used.
In general, posted images are the most appealing to my eyes, but sure enough, there are also other goodies in the contact sheets. NOTE: your browser may scale down large images until you ask it to show the image in full resolution. Bring your cursor on the picture and if it turns into a magnifing glass with a +-sign, clic picture to full size.
