Open sea with no wind during sunset and sunrise can create wonderful worlds of colours. I have had my green flash hunt been going on at a coast guard station facing to W (towards central Sweden at 200-300 kms' distance). Every so often I have witnessed the magic of evening sky colours and their reflection - broken by minor breeze - on calm sea surface. Because I look at the surface very obliquely, these breeze broken areas look like horizontal streaks and create a strong horizontal structure of colours.
