Clicked stereopairs are scaled so that in many resolution-monitor combinations individual image is about 60-70 mm wide (and the pair double of this). This will allow relatively easy viewing - at least if you are familair with the technique: Try to stare the left image with your left eye and the right image with your right eye, in the center of your view two images should "drift" above each other and suddenly give a 3D-impression. You can help your practicing using cardboard tubes for viewing ("binocular with no lenses"). Although 3D may need some practicing, it is definitely worth the effort.
Originally these pairs have been photographed on film with high resolution. Therefore there is only a very delicate difference between the left and the right image. However, for this kind of net posting a more dramatic difference (longer baseline) should have been utilized.
