Southern side of the Canyonlands - Needles area - is one of the most inspiring to me. It is the road to the park where the West looks real! Of course, Needles is amazing but a bit "too much unreal". For better views apparently a walk to some high point should have been done. Don't know where, but definitely if you know the poster for sale there - there must be a special vantage point!
