Driving from Kemmerer (WY) down to Manilla brought new colors and forms, but taking state Hwy 44 US Hwy 191 from Manilla to Vernal (UT) was a jackpot. Again scenery and colors perplexed and it is just impossible to forget the downhill drive ten or so kilometers prior to Vernal. Just amazing! After Vernal the next stop was Dinosaur National Monument. Not a disappointment! Onlu blame is the Utah fires which dimmed the scenery quite a bit.
