The first day was partly spoiled by smoke from Utah's fires while the second was clearer. It is hard to feel solitude at Grand Canyon! Rather, focus on driving and avoid park area hits! Heading for Petrified forest brought a bit reserved mind: no high rocks or deep holes. But hey - the forms and colors! There is no level of imagination, which after all what I had seen, could have cretaed something more to come. But drive to Petrified forest and learn! An endless parade of the most perplexing formations.
